Hand Cut Dovetail Masterclass
In this masterclass, you will learn how to cut dovetails by hand using traditional techniques and troubleshoot common mistakes. This class is designed to allow participants to hone their skills while gaining confidence in the use of hand tools.Laura Goffin is a classically trained furniture maker. She studied at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating from their Cabinet & Furniture Making program in 2017. She has taught introductory and advanced woodworking to both children and adults.

(Price includes $70 material fee for 2 chisels and a dovetail saw.)
Segmented Bowl Masterclass
In this course you will design and build a segmented bowl using different exotic woods. You will learn how to cut, glue-up, sand and finish your own piece of functional art.Night 1 - Wednesday, September 22 (6:00-9:00pm)

Instructor: Dwight Bender Following my retirement from teaching Mathematics my passion for wood turning was ignited while spending winters in Arizona where I was fortunate to have access to a community woodshop with state-of-the-art equipment and opportunity to benefit from the expertise of master wood turners. I became fascinated by the design and production aspects of segmented bowls using all types of exotic woods. After returning to permanently reside in London in 2019, I joined the London Community Woodshop. Since then, I have satisfied my addiction spending endless hours there endeavouring to make the next bowl more colourful, more detailed, more unique than the previous. Occasionally I am successful!
